Privacy Policy
Who we are
This website is owned and operated by DeltaDrive. For any questions relating to this policy or how we handle your personal data, please contact us at david.adams@deltadrive.net.
What information we collect
The personal information we collect is limited to what you provide directly to us, primarily through our contact and enquiry forms. This includes your name, email address, company name, and the details of your enquiry.
We do not collect sensitive personal data and we do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling.
Why we collect it and our lawful basis
We collect your information in order to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to follow up regarding our services. The lawful basis we rely on under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) is your consent. You provide this consent by submitting our contact form.
You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us at david.adams@deltadrive.net.
How we store your information
Your information is stored securely within our website platform (Squarespace) and in our business email system. Both are protected by password access, two-factor authentication, and industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest.
We do not use your data for any purpose other than responding to your enquiry and communicating with you about our services.
How long we keep it
If no project or engagement follows from your enquiry, we will retain your information for up to 12 months before deleting it. Where a project is commissioned, we retain relevant records for up to 6 years in line with standard legal and financial requirements, after which they are permanently deleted.
Who has access to your data
Your information is accessible only to the small number of people at DeltaDrive who need it to respond to your enquiry. It is never sold, shared with third parties for marketing purposes, or used for any purpose unrelated to your enquiry.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the following rights in relation to your personal data:
The right to access: you may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
The right to rectification: you may ask us to correct or complete any information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
The right to erasure: you may ask us to delete your personal information in certain circumstances.
The right to restrict processing: you may ask us to limit how we use your information in certain circumstances.
The right to object: you may object to our processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.
The right to data portability: you may ask us to transfer your information to another organisation or directly to you.
We will respond to any request within one month. There is no charge for exercising your rights. To make a request, please contact us at david.adams@deltadrive.net.
